friends - what do you do with a "friend" who has been spreading lies about you?

especially if you thought all along that she could be trusted... do you end the friendship? do you confront her but keep o being friends with that person?

Absolutely confront her and then stop being her friend. She is definitely someone you don't want to be close to. Stay calm and in control-make her look like she's the foolish one. You're way too important to be having friends who want to bring you down.
