Birthdays...........

My 25ht birthday is tomorrow. Every time my birthday comes around I start thinking about past borthdays and who I celebrated them with. This is going to be a birthday I have been looking forward to for a long time, but as it gets closer I feel no need to celebrate it. I don't know why but it depresses me to think that I am a 1/4 of a century old.
Is it just me or has anyone else had these feelings? I know it doesn't seem that old to those that are older than me, and that those younger than me can't wait to get here, but it just depresses me to think about it. I have 3 kids, my first O had at 20, and I feel that I never really had that time to myself to party and make friends for life. I guess I just need to remind myself that my kids and husband are my life and to look forward to the future with them.

you're still young my dear! cheer up and enjoy life.. I celebrated my 27th birthday last july 3 and I was so happy.My husband surprised me with a get together birthday lunch with my close family relatives. My one year old daughter is very happy to see a black forest cake too! :0 It was a memorable event for me. I am thankful to the Lord for giving me another year to fulfill my aspirations in life.I know it's not yet late for us young mom's to live life to the fullest! :)

Thanks for the encouraging words. I know I am still young, but I just get depressed thinking about it.
My daughter and I made a cake today and my husband promised that once we get a little extra money he will do something for me and get me something. I told him it doesn't really matter, but him thinking about me really does make me feel better.

Looking back, I really never thought about it being a quarter of a century when I hit 25 years old. I actually just thought of it as another birthday. You are just a kid yet, and have plenty of years ahead, relax and enjoy them :P

I don't feel like I am still a kid. I mean I have 3 kids of my own and a home of my own. I guess the kids are what is making me feel so old. Thanks for the nice words of encouragement though.
