Earnings and My Lot Time Zone?

I have not been one to count my discussions, responses, photos, links, etc & work out exactly how much I am being paid by My Lot. Partly this is because my time zone would be approximately 12 hours different from the admin. Earnings are calculated at the end of every day, & I don't know when the end of the day is?
What I usually do, before commencing any responses each day, is to record the number of "points" I am up to. Then next day I see where I got to. Generally I receive one point for every discussion. This somehopw translates to earnings, although I have never tried to work out exactly by how much.
On Tuesday I managed 30 responses, which is a high number for me. Earnings for Tuesday were 20c!! As this was incredibly low, I thought perhaps that many of my 30 responses had been done in the My Lot time zone, for the following day. The next day I earned 24c.
Does any person out there know exactly what time zone My Lot is on, and how this translates to Adelaide, South Australian time? Please don't give me time zones in US terminology, as they mean nothing to me.
My earnings were so low, for so many responses, that I figured I had better get a grip on time zones, so that I can see properly work out how much I am earning per day.
Or, perhaps My Lot earnings are getting very low, as has been reported by a few people?

Ok, I am going to try to explain this if I don't end up confusing myself.lol. I believe mylot goes from midnight to midnight my time. Midnight was just about 40 minutes ago here so what I am posting now won't count until saturday's update. Now they don't update until around 9am my time which is in just over 8 hours. I hope this helps. And yes, earnings have dropped a great deal. It works out to be about half a cent per post.

Based on what you & two others are saying, when it is midnight My Lot time, it is about 2.30pm here. Okay, thats good. So when I keep a check on my points, I will record the number again at 2.30pm.
Updating earnings must be around 10.30pm here. I will check that out tonight, if I am still awake, which I may not be.
This is all making sense now, & easier for me to make cluculations.
Half a cent per post is pathetic!

I am in the same time zone as myLot, as it is supposed to be in Overland Park Kansas. I could not tell you the GMT for where I am. If it means anything to you, the discussion I am responding to says that you started it 31 minutes ago. Thirty one minutes ago would have been Eleven thirty six, pm. It is now seven minutes passed midnight CST. The earnings are very low right now.

Okay, this is very useful. So I make it kind of around 2.30pm, when My Lot hits midnight. So I would have to assume tht any post I do after this time (approximately) goes into the NEXT days earnings.
I am going to start a new record & work this out, even if I am going away very early Sunday am.

I had PMd mL asking when the daily cutoff was for points to be calculated into the following day's total and their reply was 11PM Easter Daylight Savings time. I calculated that using the World Clock and came up with Friday, July 6TH, 11PM in Atlanta (Eastern time) is Saturday, July 7TH, 12.30PM in Adelaide, South Australia.
Earnings seem to be at an all time low just now in mL. I earned less than you on Tuesday I post 29 responses and earned 14c (average .0048) you averaged .0066. So I didn't even get a half a cent. There have been many users asking what is going on but we shall never know. I personally think they are running low on cash.

Great thanks for this. But how do you PM My Lot admin? Do you mean the contact form?
Yes, I agree completely that they are low on cash. I have a plan, and I have just started a discussion regarding this plan.......

It's almost midnight right now (11:49) on the time zone that Mylot uses, US Central Standard time. If I'm looking at my time zone map properly, it looks like it's 2:19 pm where you are? I'm a little confused by the half hour issue I'm seeing with Australia actually.
So that would mean that you're about to be cut off in the middle of the afternoon for the day's posting, if that makes sense.

This is great, thank you. That would make 2.30pm here, about midnight at My Lot. The half hour issue is daylight saving. I think we follow NSW daylight saving, even in winter. In summer, we add on another hour!

Glad I could help you figure it out a bit! I usually go to time zone web pages for things like that, because I have many friends who live in other places and I'm always trying to figure out what time of day it is for them. =p
Mylot time is only an hour different from my own time, which is probably why I never really noticed anything myself with the issue here. Then again, I don't really keep up with my activity here at all, just kind of do whatever I feel like doing whenever I feel like doing it!

My earnings last month were really high per post, seems to be that way this month as well. As far as a time zone, I *think* they are in the same time zone I am in which is -6 GMT.

Always best to count what you do since they are so apt to be reduced around here. Earnings are way low these days and we shall see if this is to end or improve or not. You might try to see if this works for you. Anything I seem to post after midnight my time here in Ohio does not seem to be included for the update that occurs for me about 9 in the morning. So the program that crawls through must take some time and there is no way I know of to tell for sure.
Buy the way, despite responses like this I get only a tiny bit over a cent per response. So it is bad.

Sadly my friend, I don't think it is the time zone that is zapping your earnings but rather myLot Admin is. I have been a member on here for 8 or 9 months (I forget), and I have been making about $1 a day, until 1 week ago where my earnings went to the pot, now I am lucky to earn $0.30 a day, it is disgusting, I wrote to them everyday for 4 days only to get a lame excuse for the earnings, now I don't even try, why bother?

Hi,Jenny! It has nothing to do with the time zone.A lot of people have been having this problem including me. Like for instance ,one day I did 29 discussions and only got 21 cents. I think it's because mylot keeps letting so many people join that they are cutting down their payments to the people already on. I have only stayed to keep in touch with my mylot friends plus I need every cent I can get cause we're moving back to where we came from but when i get back there ,I am gonna quit and give my mylot friends my email so they can have the choice of staying in touch or not.It is just a waste to keep sitting here so long and keep having the pay lowered.

i've been trying to figure this out myself so i could figure out what their 24 hours period is,because i don't think it lines up with mine.
seems like theirs is a bit later than what my clock says.

I am in North Carolina, Eastern time zone for the US. My 24 hour period renews at 10:00 AM each day. Which would make the new 24 hours period begin in Kansas at 9:00 AM Central time zone.
As I post this, it is 2:12 AM Eastern Time zone (or 1:12 AM Central time zone), Friday morning.
