This may an sound absurb but sometimes we fail to aknowledge the importance of something until we lost it. The family is the basic unit of the society. The health and welfare of the family will always define that of the nation.
Personally speaking, how important is the family to you? That is in the modern age of new values, economic competition, stress and dog-eat-dog world?

My husband and son are very important to me, in fact they are the most important thing I can think of in my entire life.
My extended family, however, isn't really important to me at all, and often people don't understand that about me. However, when I was young my family jostled me from one member to another abusing me, and so I don't have much attachment to them or affection for them. I do occasionally speak to certain members of my family, just to be nice, but honestly I don't feel that the relationship I have to them is that important to me.
There are a lot of people who tell me that later I will regret not making more of an effort to be close to my family, but honestly I simply don't believe that people who abuse a child deserve to be a part of that person's life.

When I was younger I would say that I don't value much my family, but now that I've grown I really appreciate my family. They've been there through out the stages of my life with their unending understanding and support in every decisions I make. Right now, I'm just thankful that God has placed me in the right family.

My family is very important to me. It is the only place you can go and be accepted as who you are. No pretenses. My family has backed me up when I have had problems and I have done the same for them. I look at my family as a safe haven and am always very comfortable within this place. I appreciate my family and always have.

Family to me, is the world's most important presence is anything irreplaceable,Although busy working parents have no time to take care of us, but to me, the home is only the warm, when I tired souls, as long as home, it can completely relax at home and don't have to camouflage, because I don't have to worry about my family will betray me.
