My boyfriend and I saved just enough money to move to our college town bu in the process of finding new jobs we have managed to spend every penny on food?..! Somehow!?!? Tell me what should i do?

Hey that is a very tough situation and I've been there already. What i did was set up a standing order for a certain percentage of my salary to go to a savings a/c. I simply forgot about the account and made sure I didn't have a debit card. This way I could not stop at an atm to take money out of this account. Before you know it you would have started a healthy savings. And better yet it's you and your boyfriend so that combined, savings would be twice as fast. What do you think about that?

try this, from what you have, set aside at least 10% as your savings...that way, you'll be spending more from your "spare" cash rather than lashing eveything out...it may not be much, but it sure does accumulate over time...you'll see...;)

Be careful, watch you pennies. Don't eat out, that's what always did me in when I was single!
