do you always look at your reflection everytime you come across a mirror/glass?

its kinda embarassing but i admit, whenever i come across a mirror or any surface that gives a reflection, i never fail to take a moment and look at my own reflection. LOL may it be a glass door, a glass window, mirrors being sold in the streets :p, even in cars! LOL i just couldnt help it. i guess im just conscious of my appearance. ^__^;;

you know everybody has this tendency to admire themselves secretly even,if they are not that pretty.everybody is conscious about their looks as in today's world or scneraio it has become very much important.moreover who doesn't want to get compliments on looks!!!!
and its this feeling that tempts us to look at a mirror wherever we find one.there is nothing wrong in that.no need to feel embarassed about this.its a human tendency.when everybody is in the same boat,then whom to point out.

you're right. the physical appearance of a person had became too much important not only for the person himself but also for the others. People tend to judge a person just by looking at his appearance and never bother to look inside. so im really glad i know some people who really take time to get to know a person first before judging him. ^__^

Yes, I always look at my reflection every time I passed by a mirror. I just want to look at myself in the most unexpected time... lols! Maybe I am just curios how I look like in that time. I usually experience that when I am at the mall, in the mirrors or glass door in the department store. I dont see anything wrong with because I think most of the women do that too.

me too! i always look at glasses inside the mall just to look at myself! LOL i just don't look at glass windows and doors that i come across with, i side glance just to take a look at me! ^__^;; yeah, i think most women do. most women are vain. LOL

it has become like an instinct to me. whenever i see a mirror, i look at my reflection even just a glance, i dont know why, but i need to see myself maybe. ;-)

Almost every time when I pass a mirror, I look at my reflection in the mirror. It seems to be a habitual action of mine. I don't know why it is so. It is really interesting of me.

maybe its a reflex. ^__^;; y'know, we tend to look at a reflective surface when we see a reflection on it, may it be ours or of others. just like when someone enters the door, we look up and see who is it. ^__^

LOL yeah, I look at any mirror or glass just to see if I look okay. :p last saturday I made an fx's window as a mirror. LOL I was sweating a lot so I wanted to see if my face was oily. ^__^;;

It's just impossible for me to resist to look into the mirror when I come across one:P Don't know why but I have this imperative:P Maybe because there are so many mirrors in my houseand I'm used to it:P But I don't think it's sick I think it's only natural as many people do that. Yes Bear, I do the same. Whether it’s a tiny mirror in a railway loo, or the ornate one at the office bathroom, small reflective ones on motorbikes, rearview ones in cars or the full-length ones in the malls. I look at them with a sideways glance of my eyes everytime I pass one. I even look at my reflection on the large plate-glasses that adorn the shops. Even though I don’t like what I see, I cant help it.

LOL that's quite a lot of different glass you come across with sudipta. ^__^;; but were just the same, sometimes if I don't like what I see, I still can't help but look at my reflection. thank goodness no one has ever caught me looking at myself in a car window. LOL that would be ver embarrassing! ^__^;;

I realized a few days ago, that I pass mirrors all of the time in my house and half of the time I don't even glance in the mirror. I mean I really don't even see myself in the mirror in passing. I will be in the bathroom standing in front of a big mirror by the sink, and not even look. When I am going out thought, I do look and make sure I am tidy in appearance and look ok.

well yes i never noticed before why this happens but now that you mentioned i wonder why, i mean every person looks in any sort of thing that reflects his image when passing by and this is not only with me its with everyone i think, its an odd phenomenon dunno why...

I'm not that too conscious of my appearance and usually being housebound, because I'm a stay-at home mom and wife, I rarely look at the mirror. Well, I do check myself first if I have to go outside and hang the clothes to dry. I don't want to scare my neighbors!lol!

LOL I'm careful of my appearance too when I'm going out of the house. ^__^;; my neighbors usually see me all dressed up and rarely see me in a housedress. so whenever I go out in a housedress, I make sure I make it brief and interact with less people. LOL its not really because of my appearance, its just I'm not that sociable. ^__^;;

Well, if i'm at home i dont look in the mirror a whole lot. I look when i brush my hair and teeth, or when i'm washing my hands cause the mirror is there. But if i walk past i dont usually look.
If i'm outside, then the first glass i notice i can see myself I usually grab a quick look to make sure i dont have hair standing straight up or something silly lol. But i dont look at myself just to look at myself! I know some people who do!!
It's sort of funny, she thinks she really hot, but she isn't! even with all the salon trips, manicures, and make up. It's just in her head! She average. Just as i probably am on a good day lol when i bother to get outta my jammies LOL :)

I guess so, but the thing is is that i'm not really confident, i just could care less what people think lol. I have been told i'm pretty, but i dont think that i am, so i guess i have a lack of confidence, but i could care less what other people think.. Does that make any sense at all ?

it makes sense actually. ^__^ if you don't care what people might think, and some people think that you are pretty, then its your natural beauty that they see in you. and its better than a beauty came from different products and facial operations. ^__^;;

Hello secretbear, I think its a natural reflex for us to glance at our ourself when come across with any mirror. I will pass through a tinted window of a car and look at it for a second only and move on. It isn't my habit to really stop and check myself though. I'm always on the run and there's simply no time for me to enjoy looking at myself, LOL!

hehe.. gals normally are conscious of their own looks no matter wat.. those shy ones will only wait till they are alone den they will adjust their watever things.. But those confident ones will amke it a point to check themselves out at every opportunity because they wanna bring out the best in them.. LOL.. And me, i do sometimes take a glance into watever reflections is there and i wun take too long ^_^ LOL

I think the confident ones do not usually look at every mirrors at all. they might take a look but it would be for seconds only. those that take too long might be narcissist. LOL
