Why are some people attracted to very young boys/girls?

Yeah, Michale Jackson is definitely the poster boy for pedophiles.... I just wonder WHY some people are, you know? How in earth is someone attracted to a KID?? Another example is that woman, the school teacher who married her student, Mary Kay Laturno.

You've got two really good points. I can see the whole "control" thing. Like maybe the kind of people that have like NO self-esteem so they feel powerful or whatever by manipulating. I was REALLY surprised that that Laturno woman and that kid got married. AND they have like two kids and have been together for years now! I guess there are exceptions....
