I have tried many antivirus programs but have not found any ideal anti virus/spyware/trojan program. Is there such a thing as an ideal program that updates daily and really protect your PC?

To your question, yes, there is really such a thing as an ideal antivirus that updates daily and really protects your PC. There are lots of antivirus that are effective in terms of detecting viruses or worms. You just have to search and know some feedbacks about the product, and to verify it. For pain version, you can try Kaspersky and Symantec. For freeware version, you could try AVAST, AVG, and Avira. I am currently using a freeware version, which is Avira AntiVir Classic Edition. I can totally say that since using this one, I never had problems at all and I am very much satisfied with it. It automatically updates regularly and you can schedule this at your most convenient time. It is very light on resources and does not eat a lot of memory. It does not slow down your computer system. Its primary function and advantages is to provide protection against viruses, worms, and trojans, protection against dialers and phishing, and detects and delete rootkits. The product combines first-class detection rates and ease of use with a top performance that protects your machine safely. You can download this at www.free-av.com If you any problems with it, you can contact one of the expert there by visiting their support forum at forum.avira.com. In terms antispyware, you can superantispyware which is also one of the best and effective for detecting spyware and adware. Hope this would help. Have a nice day.

Dear dbhattji, I was using Norton-antivirus previously but it was not giving good service. Subsequently I switched over to AVG anti-virus. It is free software and they upgrade it often. You can try this. As far as I am concerned it is a good softwazre.

hello dbhattji, like you i have also tried various antivirus programs you can say almost all of them.intially i was using AVG,then avast.but they were just ok as i my pc got infected with virus with those antivirus programs still no.then i switched on to norton.but it took most of my disk space and made my computer slow.so then i changed to mcafee.i used it quite for a long time but then i found that its not detecting all viruses and worms. then my friend suggested me to use zonelarm security suite.infact he gave me the software with license.i used it and i found it quite impressive and effective too.now i am using it.it comes with a 3-in-1 package of antivirus/antispyware and firewall.it has automatic updates also and lots of other features that i found reliable.but the sad fact is its not a freeware.

for me, none of the antivirus softwares mentioned in the posts are good enough if you use internet constantly. the two first best antivirus softwares are bit defender and kaspersky, you can prove this by searching on the net. i have not used bit defender, but i have used kaspersky: it is the best ever for me. it functions as email antivirus, file antivirus, anty spam, atihacker, proactive defense, anty spy, web antivirus.: i am talking about kaspersky internet security 7, the one i am currently using. search it on the net, give it a try and let me know. if you can't get it, contact me, i'll help you
