My First Deleted Discussion

Thats is quite interesting, may I please know those reasons so that it becomes a learning experience for some of us? I have been looking out for some of my discussions but i failed to see them-i did not know that mylot occassionally deletes discussions! Let me know those circumstances!

I think that was a bit unfair pal , I wouldn't worry about your friends being upset , It was only 1 cent , I thought it was a really good discussion and you had a lot of responses , as you know I had 2 deleted as well and I still don't know why , take care pal and don't worry about us , xx

I do not know what your discussion was about but if the $10.01 was about your earnings then that is against the guidelines as it is considered personal information. Many of us take the chance and also reveal earning information and just hope we dont get caught because if you do then the discussion will be deleted.

Yes, there is a first time for everything..Join the club, this has been happening so much lately..I got a discussion deleted a couple of weeks ago too. Ive been here 7 months too and that was my first deleted discussion.

Aidonia - it is a mystery to me why some discussions get deleted and not others...I really don't know why your discussion was somehow against the rules?!

I didn't see that discussion. Was it about a money making site or a referral? Because MyLot deletes those often, especially when they are reported. But since I didn't see the discussion I can't accurately guess what the reason for deletion was. I hope you aren't too bummed though. Maybe you can post some more to make up for that one lost and as a result get even MORE replies than the deleted one had.

I didn't see that discussion, but then again don't let it get to you. Everybody gets that once and awhile. I had responses deleted because the topics I responded to were deleted, so my earnings went down. There is no post count for topics so I wouldn't know how many of my topics were deleted, if any. I guess I would be questioning mylot too if it happened

Congratulations for such a long "career" at myLot without a deletion! Very good work! I was here for three months before my first deleted discussion. I found a discussion where I could have a laugh and talk about it: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/31911.aspx I found many of the comments very funny, it took me a long time to read them all! Maybe you will want to make a comment about your dear departed discussion.

I guess there must be valid reason for deleting your discussion but it could have been worst, at least your account didn't get deleted or anything so that is a bonus.

Hi there aidonia, I have been in myLot for just less than a month now, and i have enjoyed posting discussions and comments here SOOO MUCH! I have actually not experienced a discussion deletion before, although i have responded in those discussions which HAS been deleted, and i did lose some money for that, seeing my myLot earnings decrease kind of discouraged me a bit. It is good to see that you did not get discouraged to post here in myLot, because i really enjoy the discussions which you start. I have earned maximum of 80cent a day and i was so excited, but i decided not to create a discussion on that because i have already done my "amazing 50cent, record for me" post and would not like to flood the myLot community with my pointless celebration of earning breakthroughs...

Can you tell me the reason why your discussion got deleted? My very first discussion was deleted in myLot. I was upset. What are the common reasons for discussions being deleted? I had not entered any link. It was a discussion just asking other users to add me as friend. was it an offence? I'm still not clear about what exactly we can post here in myLot.com I'm sorry for you. sorry aidonia , i know how you feel now , and the bad thing that there is no reason why , only they say deleted and that is the reason that i felt that they don't care !

There have been many discussions deleted for one reason or another. Although I am not familiar with this particular discussion, I would guess that it had something to do with the fact that you were posting about your earnings here. In addition to the myLot guidelines, members might also want to read this discussion posted by myLot, http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/457762.aspx called "Why do discussions, responses and comments sometimes get deleted?" You might find some useful information about some of the things that aren't listed in the guidelines section.

Dear, I have also noticed that one of your another discussions, has also been removed ...the one regarding 'internet'. I received the E-Mail notification reg. your discussion 2-3 days back..but when I opened it for replying...there was a message..that this discussion has been 'removed'. I could not make out...why your discussion was removed...I do not think topic was such...that it needed to be removed. Any way ! Best of Luck next time! Have a Nice Day! Deepak

oh and why did they remove it??? if I remember well, you were saying that you were happy that they helped you to reach the minimum amount of money needed for reaching the payout..oh I cannot imagine what there was wrong about it..anyway I am here to support you and to say that there are many things I cannot understand and that this is one..but I am here..unless they delete me and I am sending you allmy friendship as always

Hi Aidonia thats sad that your discussion got deleted but did you find out what was the reason it got deleted for?...anyway i read some of your replies you have written its not going to discourage you! so iam sure you are going to start more discussions and have fun mylotting! take care and see you around :)
