Look at the other discussion and I am saying that chocolate has to be the real thing or nothing at all. I read this article and liked what it said. Thought I would post it and see what the chocolate lovers here at mylot think. Sorry about the other discussion. I didn't put the link there. Let me know what you think.
Chocolate Rules
Nothing could be simpler than chocolate, right?Wrong – at least according to chocolate purists.
To get that luxurious, melt-in-your-mouth goodness, chocolate is made from ground cacao beans. In addition to providing the chocolate flavor we all know and love, the beans also provide cocoa butter, which propels the delicious flavor straight to the taste buds.
Currently, industrial candy makers are petitioning the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to permit the substitution of less-expensive fats and still be able to call the product chocolate. High-end chocolatiers have a different take on the matter. One, Northern California-based Guittard, went so far as to establish a website, Dontmesswithourchocolate.com. According to the site, it’s too late to register a comment with the FDA, but there’s still plenty of information on the controversy.
According to an editorial in last Monday’s New York Times by Mort Rosenblum, author of “Chocolate: A Bittersweet Saga of Dark and Light,” allowing this substitution would “widen the gap between good and awful.”
To some, the proposal to preserve what makes chocolate, chocolate is worth fighting for; or, in other words, keep your mitts of my candy bar.

I have read a lot about the benefits of chocolate and if you don't overdue it is good for your health.
