Please do not Crash your empty car!

My friend has a nasty habit of starting her car engine to warm up whilst stood outside the car, then taking her little boy round to the other side to put him in his car seat.
This is fine if your car is out of gear!
Yesterday morning was no exception, except that the car jumped forwards through my dads front fence, with no-one in it.
Her new car is grazed from the concrete post which snapped.
We now have to get the post replaced before my dad gets home from his holidays.
Please, please remember never to do this, luckily it was just a fence but it could have been a lot worse.

Wow, that is certainly a warning to your friend. It only takes a second for a major accident to happen. I am glad no one was hurt and it was only a post.
Good luck in fixing the post before your dad gets back.
Glad to see you back....enjoying the 6 weeks holidays I hope.xx

Hi honey!
Shrek replaced the post before dad got back and she confessed to him a couple of days later after I explained, he was just relieved no-one was hurt.
Rainy summer holidays - aaaaargh!
Yep we're having a lovely time - fitting a new bathroom as if there isn't enough water around already, lol.
Hope you're all having lots of fun!

Good luck with the bathroom!!
I am having a great time. I got a new laptop for my birthday, my daughter is now out to work everyday, training at Daniel Galvin's top salon and my son has his decks, so he is well away.
I hope these next 5 weeks go very slowly. Its just a plus not having to study anymore and with my partner working away from home for the next 8 weeks, only coming home at weekends, I have the run of the remote!!!hee hee
Take care xx

I think he's learned a big lesson, thank goodness her 4 year old or my 3 year old or newty dog weren't in front of the car! She got herself really upset until 2 days after dad got home when she confessed, after she made sure I'd already told him, lol. Of course dad was just pleased only a post got hurt and a car scratched.
Shrek swapped the post for her over the next 2 nights and if it wasn't for the grass being distured n-one wuold have know.
