ragging

There should never be any physical ragging in schools or colleges.But there should be some kind of interaction between the seniors and freshers.This will help freshers and seniors knowing each other well and will make seniors happy in helping out a junior later.Its a usual tendency that seniors helps out a guy more than anybody else if he was interacted more than by anyother fresher.If this interaction is with the knowledge of parents and administration,its very safe for the interacting seniors so that they wont jump into any kind of troubles.There can be committies inside the hostel to stop any kind of exess interaction they come across.My hostel does have all these rules for interacting with a fresherman which has not yet in the history of the hostel has caused any problems.

acc to me... ragging must be there but within limits... anything beyond limits is bad... and where s the fun in coll if u cant create a rapport with your seniors and juniors... the tradition actually was created to make students unite and be friendly.. to be frank i liked being ragged by my seniors and it was so because i felt it was funny being ragged... and moreover my seniors were real good ppl....
