No, not either. :-) I have to know the person first before I call her not just from a number I see posted on some site, I think its not right. I prefer getting to know someone on the net first by email or by instant messenger before calling anyone. It is safer that way with someone that I have never met before. There is no way for sure to know if the number you gave is yours or someone elses.

yes i would...i don't see any difference between having a conversation over net or phone...infact i had called a few and they're my good friends now...i would introduce myself with my display name and will mention mylot so that the person can easily recognize me :)
