Have you ever read a book by an author that was so good, you just keep reading and reading until you finished the book completely. This has happened to me when I read J.k Rowling's,D.J MacHale's,Meg Cabot, and Octavia Butler's books.Which authors do you enjoy?

Yes, this does happen to me frequently, randisexi. My favorite authors are many: Iris Johansen, Nora Roberts, Christine Feehan, Jeffrey Deaver, Lee Child, Sherilyn Kenyon. I could go on and on. I think that Stephen King is my #1 though. I have been reading him forever.

I usually enjoy autobiographies best, so it is hard to pick a favorite author since most of these figures were never authors by profession but are simply telling the story of their lives. However, I can name lots of authors I favor in the realm of poetry. Tennyson is my all-time favorite. I also love Yeats, Dylan Thomas, and Goethe... mostly English and German poets.

I have several, too!
Jan Karon, Beverly Lewis, Ann B. Ross, Rowling, Jennifer Chiaverini, Agatha Christie, Jules Verne, Laura Numeroff (Children's author), and Wilson Rawles. Oh, I can't forget Roald Dahl. (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory)
Looks like I've got quite a variety. No wonder I never FINISH a book, I'm always starting a new one! LOL!

I'm the same way with Terry Pratchett and Marian Keyes. Whenever I get my hands on a new book by any of these authors I read it as soon as I can, and won't stop until I'm finished.
It's great when you find writers that spellbind you with their books so you forget everything else.

I have several authors I really like. The one author that keeps me reading that I have a hard time putting down is Harlan Coben. I also really like James Patterson, Iris Johansen, Lisa Jackson and Stephen King.
