which dog breed would u give your heart away to?

My prefered breed of dog is the Border Collie, these remarkable dogs are the most intellegent of breeds, recently a German study showed they can learn command words as rapidly as a young human learns words! They still have most of the instincts of a Wolf yet can be trained to work sheep, rounding them up, etc out of sight of the shepherd. They are also have remarkable endurance and are happy to be active all day. I have seen them jump over 5 foot vertically without a run up. They do require a great deal of excersice and to be occupied and kept interested or they can become destructive. As many people have found to their cost returning to their homes to find them destroyed, however treated well they make excellent pets and are very affectionate. Care should be taken with young children as they can not recognise them as a human and attempt to round them up, and if the child doesn't turn they may bite their ankles to turn them. They are hardy and generally very healthy. all the best urban
