Hello Grandpa Bob, I like your Hydragena bush, it is so little, but packs quite a big punch. I cannot believe the flowers on such a small plant. My Hydragena bush, I bought two years ago, has never blossomed. I know it's the type of soil that determines the color, but it also helps with flowering as well. I do have to say that is a beautiful plant. My hat's off to you! Peace, Totty

Sounds great. I don't talk to my plants. I yell at them just like I do at my puter.

Hi grandpa Bob, I just wanted to give you an update on my Hydragena bush. I told you I planted it two years ago and it hasn't bloomed yet. Well I went out today to water the plants, and guess what.... It is blooming all over, I'll put a photo in my profile once it fully blooms. it should be a couple more days. It looks like white flowers are going to dominate the plant. I think it need a little encouagement, because I talked to it when yours bloomed. I think the talk worked. Thankyou. Peace, Totty

That is a lovely flower. I have always liked hygragenas. They are so pretty. The only problem I have is I am not that good with growing things. My tulips didn't even come up this year. I have no idea what I did wrong.

Just beautiful, Grandpa Bob. Now I want to go out and buy me a Hydragena or 2 or a dozen. Heyyyyyyyyy you just gave me a great landscaping idea. I have 3 pine trees growing out front in a zigzag pattern. Instead of having to cut between them all the time, I can till up the spaces between them and plant Hydranenas or a mix of them and some other small flowering bushes. Thanks!!! :-)

Grandp Bob do you need to stress the hydragena to make them bloom? Mine is pretty but still not blooms. I have a miniture rose that has not bloomed in two years and finally is stared to bloom. Yayaya the flowers are yellow with pinkish/red centers. I will post a photo when they open up.

My Hydragena didn't bloom the first year. All I did was prune the branches to about an inch above ground level. Now they have bloomed. Once the bloom the time to prune is as soon as the flowers die off. trim just below the flowers is what Ive heaqrd once they have bloomed.

Yes, it looks good. I have one, too. They need lots of watering. I did not know what they were called in English. You taught me. Now I know it. Hydragena. Thank you grandpa bob.

Wow, I love hydrangeas, I want to plant some but I was told at the nursery that the deer love them even more then I do. Therefore I don't get them. The deer by us are quite bold, they come up and look in the windows, they stand in the driveways when your are pulling out and look at you...like they own it not us. What do you do to keep the deer away.

wow, that's truly beautiful. I used to have a couple of hydrangia plants too, but lost them when I relocated. I may get new ones now. I am so much inspired by your pictures! One good thing about these plants is that you just need to give them some initial attention and then they survive well.
