Parents buying children cars

I was the one who bought myself a car when I got a job. Me and my husband provide everything else for our basic needs and necessities and we don't depend on our parents since then.

My parents bought me an old used car when I was 16. Shortly thereafter I got a part time job to help pay for gas. A year later after I graduated from high school I got a full time job and moved out on my own. I couldn't have done that without the car. Then again it was probably the reason I didn't go to college straight out of high school. I think my life would have been very different if I hadn't had that car. Whether that's good or bad I'll never know of course, but I know it would have been very different.

My parents bought me a car when I turned 16. It wasn't a brand new car, which is good, because no teenager should have a new car for their first car. They aren't responsible enough. I appreciated my car! I took great care of that car. I loved it. I think got that car a week before I had brain surgery. It's a gift I'll never forget. It was something to look forward to while recovering from my surgery.
