3rd season of greys anatomy- what happened to burke and yang

i just started the 3rd season and it seemed that there are many changes that happened... i was wondering why they had to kick out burke on the show. i think that the story between yang and burke is pretty interesting. the absence of burke will only make the show focus on meredith and mcdreamy. im not against meredith and mcdreamy, its just that its too dragging and too predictable. i want burke back...

Burke got cut from the show because he verbally abused his co-workers.

well, on the show, yang and burke were about to get married. she hesitated and he walked back the isle and came out and told her that it was over. he said he didn't want her to go through with it if she wasn't fully into it. he got fired from the show though because he called t.r. knight a fa**ot when he was fighting with patrick demsey. There won't just be meredith and derrick though. there is still the george, callie, izzy triangle. plus the introduction of meredith's sister as a intern. And alex went after ava so we'll have to see if he catches her.

yeah, i think ravinskye is right... and in addition to that, there are also some new members of the cast who is starting to pop-up like those doctors from L.A who were introduced when dr. montgomery shepperd went there to find out if she's gonna be pregnant or not... i think those characters are quite ineresting as well... and there are more issues to focus on other than "merder's" scenes... hope season four will be more interesting and i wish for more amazing surgeries to arrive!!! have fun watching the show...

the doctors from la won't be on greys. that was there way of introducing their new spin off "private practice" addison is going to go to la to work with those doctors, so she won't be on greys anymore. private practice will start this fall.

are you sure you are watching the show???? just kidding. :) it think the 3rd season is dragging and too predictable tho i havent reached the part where meredith's sis has become an intern... im sure it will take a toll on meredith...

Well, i just finished season3 and at the later episodes of season burke is not on the show. but on the 1st parts of it, he's still there. I think it was episode 20 that i didn't see him there... There's so many controversies and intrigues going on. Branching out from 1 person to another. And just guess what izzie did to denny's money and there are other revelations to see.... hope you finish it and have a wonderful time.

You're absolutely right. Burke is a toughness & feistiness the show needs. Well. that's showbiz, lots of intrigues so we had to see him go. Tsk tsk. And I don't like Meredith. I don't the like the trying-hard-to-be-cute way she squints her eyes when she smiles. This season, I hope, will delve more into McSteamy! We all have to find out why he is the way he is! He is, by far, the most intriguing character on the show!
