Jane Austen's novel are a must read romance novels... especially the ever so popular Pride and Prejudice

Some of the old classics such as Jane Austin are great romances - if you want something a little more up to date you might try Rosamund Pilcher. Start with her first book and work your way through. I loved her books because they weren't the type of romance novel where boy meets girl & in chapter 2 they are in bed. I think you might enjoy them. The Shell Seekers, September & Coming Home are three of her best known books.

I really couldn't tell you the specific books, but I could suggest romance authors for you. Nora Roberts - mainly romance, but it usually has some suspence in it to hold your interest as well. Jude Deveraux - a great romance book and the ones I have read so far all have held my attention.
