Who must take charge of the finances during your date?

Financing on a date may be an issue for some couples. WHo must really take charge of the finances when you got a date? Is it okay for the girl to pay the bill? Or does it really be the man responsible for it?

On the first day the man should fit the bill. I even think on the next couple of dates the man should fit the bill but sometimes the girl should offer just to show courtesy. If it leads into a relationship I think every so often then the woman should offer to pay.
