Do you read all the "Terms and conditions" in an earning program?

Whenever we subscribe for an earning program or any other type of website, there'll be a link for user "Terms and conditions". We can register ourselves only if we agree to all their "terms and conditions". Everytime when i join a website, i just go through one or two terms and conditions, then click "agree" button and register. There'll be a lot of terms and conditions and i don't have patience to read all of them. I'll be in a hurry to join the website. Do you read all the terms and conditions while joining a website? Or You don't read them at all? Or You just glance at them?

To be honest, I tend to scan through them very quickly. I tend to read the "do" and "do not" section if there is one. But most of them are in small closely bunched-up text that makes it difficult on the eyes. Most of the rules are to stop people exploiting other the site and other users, so I find it's a matter of common sense. There are probably legal requirements that the rules are written in a certain format and language that many people, including myself, do not understand fully anyway :-)

No, I dont even consider it necessary-i just concentrate on posts and discussions. Those terms speak for themselves, when you need to apply them in any situatuation, then you can refer to them-this is my view!

hmmm......i partially agree.......some terms don't speak of themselves. Thanks for sharing your views.

I might glance at them because you almost need a lawyer to figure out what they are saying. I think most people don't look them over too closely and like me are shocked later to find out all the exceptions and rules.

To be honest I rarely read the “terms and conditions” of a site when I signup. The only time I go back to read the “terms and condition” is generally when I have a question…lol… Although I prefer to email admin about the questions I have or ask other members, The “terms and conditions” are often not clear or hard to understand, so then I don’t bother reading them unless I really have to.

Reading Terms and conditions, that is a boring job.I hate it but in some cases to have glance is benificial. Instead of that FAQ I do read thoroghly and that gives all necessory information.

I love FAQs as well, they are easy to understand.

I run through them to check on terms of payment as mentioned above - the minimum payout and also in what 'currency', egold, paypal or whatever. It reminds me of a Dilbert cartoon where he signed off as having read Microsoft Win XP Terms and Conditions (has anyone actually read and understood them?) before loading it and signed his life away as Bill Gate's boot boy. haha

No, I never read that stuff.. Its just a time waste.. U neways can't progress if u don't agree to the terms and conditions, so its better to agree to them beforehand... I never read the terms n conditions whatever it may be, whether its for installing a game , a software or for registering on a website...

I usually try to read the whole agreement. I've come across a few that have little conditions that I don't really like, but they are clear at the end of the contract. Those are the ones that can come back and bite you if you're not careful.

Hello Luv, and welcome to MyLot it is a great place to be and make new friends. Yes I read them and I go by them, if people didnt go by the terms and conditions then the sites will start getting a bad rep..and then no one would want to join them. Happy Posting my friend.

I not only read the Terms and conditions. I read the FAQs too before I sign up. I have just to make sure I am comfortable with the payment protocol.

I very seldom ever read the terms and conditions if I know it is a good progam. Once in a while I will glance over them if I am not sure of a program before I sign up and If I don't like what they say then I don't sign up.

Most of the time I don't really read the terms and conditions and I know I should. I have got into trouble with some of these programs because of the failure to read the whole thing fully. Many times I read the first few lines and that is it. Some times I run through and look at the headings of some of the items contained and read the ones that look interest. It is a deliberate thing you know, to make the writing very small and very long so that people won't read everything and fall in to their trap.

I do read the "terms and conditions" of certain programs. For example, I just joined Associated Content. It was important for me to know all the details before I started writing article. For programs like traffic exchanges and others, I just sign up. It really depends on the program. Lloyd

To be honest, usually no. If I want to join the program, and I have read what info is available and done my own research, then I want IN. That's it, the terms and conditions are not going to stop me - not because I don't care, but because there is no point in reading. If I don't press "accept", I can't join. It's as simple as that. Most of the terms and conditions are crap anyway. Check out the infamous ones by banks. Yet how many of us opted out of bank accounts before we read and disagreed with them? :P

Hello.I_LUV_U,when i join an earning site, most of the time,i will only have a quick glance on the terms and conditions,i will not read them all in detail because i know it is not going to be useful in case the site is a scam, most of the time,i will just tick the box i have read all the terms and agree them all, then just go to the site straight away. May be it is better for us to understand the site more before we join any sites.

I glance at each paragraph but I do not read each and every word. I find out how they pay, and if it costs me anything. If they need anything upfront.
