Niagara Falls- Heading out tomorrow

Hi Kris. I was lucky to have been to Toronto last April and then see Niagara Falls, my sister and her hubby accompanied us there. My father and I had our one month vacation in Canada. We stayed 2 weeks with my sis who lives near Montreal and then 2 weeks with my brother who lives in British Columbia. The Maid of the Mist was not open that time because some part of the niagara falls are frozen in snow. We had the great view of the Falls and nearby area from the top of the Skylon Tower. We went to "The Journey Behind the Falls' and its really cold out there. Its so sad though that we're not able to see some of the attractions coz of limited time. Niagara Falls is one of the greatest tourist spots that I have been and seen. Hope, all of you will enjoy and have a great time there!

That's a great choice :) I know you will enjoy it. I love the maid of the mist! The first time I came to Canada it was just for a visit and one of the first places they took me was to Niagara Falls. What I remember the most was that it was such a hot day but it was so nice and cool by the Falls. Then I came to live here and since we are close we often go to the falls. It's always nice no matter how many times we go:) I haven't had a proper vacation in about 10 years and don't thin I will have one this year as well but we will try to at least go camping a few weekends. I hope you have a wonderful time. Yes, I have been to Niagra Falls but I was really little when we went so I don't remember much. And it rained the whole time.lol. I haven't been on vacation in years. The last time we went anywhere was about 4 years ago and we went to Fair Haven and spent the weekend in one of the cabins. It was fun but there were many of us there. Someday I want to go with just me and my boyfriend.

nope didnt get up that way when in New york. But it sounds like a wonderful trip and hope ya';; have a wonderful time. Already had Vacation this year went to Tenn. in Feb. to see son and then in April to Utah to see my mom and celebrated her 87th birthday. Dont think going anywhere else.

Love the maid of the mist, not sure what the white water walk is? Is that the one where you go down the elevator and get to walk along the base of the falls? Wait that is on the American side. Butterfly conservatory - that sounds cool, if you get a chance the aquarium on the American side is pretty cool. Have seen the fireworks but saw them from the rainbow bridge, we walked across the bridge, it was raining that day

Hey there! I went to niagra falls on a school trip a month ago. We had a music trip to clevland ohio and went to the rock n roll hall of fame and such and we went through nigara falls on the way home so we stayed there a night. I have never seen the fireworks over the falls, but i did have a chance to visit Lundy's Lane, which i HIGHLY suggest you do. Its very glamorous, kinda like vegas lol. Neon signs, they have tons of small stores. Whats cool about it is, during the night they have amazing haunted houses and tons of tourist attractions. They even have tons of wax museums. I hope you guys have loads of fun, because my first time to niagara falls was amazing!

i live an hour north of niagara falls and while it is close by and we tend to take it for granted, we still go there about once a year. one year we went to the falls in january to see what it was like and crossed over and saw the falls from the ny side...man was it cold! i hope you have a great time while in canada!!!!!!!

I've never been to Niagara, but my sister has & my parent's took their honeymoon there. I've done my trip for the year, but I'd hardly call it a "vacation."
