yes it does. but is it gonna make you have the illness? no, it doesn't
to diagnosed to have this illnes, your blood pressure should higher tahn normal in at least two times checking separated in two weeks period.
caffein just simply increase your blood pressure at that time. when caffein gone from your blood, the effect also gone. with this increase in blood pressure, the more blood will go through your brain. that's what keeps you alert and sometimes think better =p

Studies on caffeine and high blood pressure indicate that drinking caffeinated beverages results in only short-term blood pressure increases. Other risk factors tend to increase a person's chances of developing hypertension other than caffeine, and high blood pressure is not likely to result based on that alone. If you have heart disease, your doctor may recommend limiting your caffeine consumption.
Hypertension research studies have shown that caffeine in coffee, as well as in other drinks, such as tea and soda, raises blood pressure only temporarily. Once the caffeine is out of the body, the blood pressure returns to its "normal" level. Studies have also shown that in people who drink coffee on a regular basis, blood pressure does not increase as much as in someone who does not drink coffee regularly.
Caffeine will not increase the risk of developing high blood pressure (hypertension) in a person with normal blood pressure. People with high blood pressure should be able to continue to have drinks that contain caffeine; however, they should talk to their doctor about caffeine and high blood pressure. In the case of some people (especially those who are sensitive to caffeine or who have heart disease), their doctor may recommend limiting caffeine consumption.

i dont know.i am not sure about it!When you are a college student you need coffee!! At least 4-5 cups a day!! It has to be really strong coffee. I am sure that is the reason why i am 5"ft 2in tall? I have been drinking coffee since I was in my mother's womb. I do drink a lot of water though which is a plus!
