Which is better comcast or direct tv????
in my opinion i think comcast because on direct you have to call in order to get movie and direct they might have more channel than comcast but on comcast it is more to watch.

I was wondering too because I was thinking of switching to Comcast cable. I currently have DishNetwork and it always goes out with bad weather. Is this the case with Comcast? I live in South Florida so we have LOTS of rain. Does anyone here who has Comcast ever get outages due to weather or for any other reason? Are there as many channels on cable as with DishNetwork and is it the same price or is it more/less expensive than DishNetwork?
Is Directv good? Is it comparable to DishNetwork? My bill is so high every month and as I said the servie goes out alot.

I have had DirectTV, DishNetwork, and Comcast. Even if I have had many of problems with Comcast, I would take it over the other two. One reason is that when it rains you loose your tv. Another reason is that they do not offer internet service. Direct TV has teamed up with AT&T to put tv and phone on the same bill, but they have nothing to do with each other. Direct TV has a problem with double billing. Dishnet work dose have better service with two LMBs per dish but still when the weather is bad you loose service.

that is a tough question...I have currently comcast the the triple pack...with phone, internet and cable..and love it...with direct tv on the over hand, they have more channnels and also offer the NFL sunday ticket...so,if it comes to watching tv,i would pick direct tv.

Having had the experience with both I can honestly say that both have thier ups and downs. For instance, Comcast has the option of using thier On Demand services which is even better if you subscribe to thier premium channels- which then allows you access to thier On Demand content for free. BUT Direct TV has the NFL network and the only sports package that carries the NFL!!! Sooooo that is a big downer on comcasts part in my opinion :)
