Has your job been outsourced or downsized and you are still trying to recover?

I along with several other collegues were downsized. Some of us have found jobs, but at much lower pay scale. Others have returned to school even though we already had a college degree and still are simply finding lower paying jobs even with experience.

You can say that again. It is horrendous. I hope you find something. Just remember, you are not alone.

The future is not in your hands, why worry about it, it may not even come. If you're under heavy stress at work everyday, then most probably you are not in the right job. Look for or do something that will make you happy. If you have a hobby or interest that can generate income, try looking into it as a business opportunity. You'll never go wrong. Always think POSITIVE so that life will be easier for you. Good Luck!

It is always sad to know that alot of people are lossing their jobs due to outsourcing and downsizing. This is just the hard reality of the corporate jungle. One person's loss is another person's gain. LEARNING NEW IDEAS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS, whether you are still on the job or not, is the only solution to this predicament. Lossing your job is not the end of the world, it's just the beginning of a new adventure in life. It oftentimes gives you the opportunity to know that there are still so many things to learn in life but because you have been too engrossed in your former job you were not able to appreciate the other GOOD things life has to offer. Pick yourself up and move on to the next challenge, that's what life is all about!
