John Cena's Reign

Who do you forsee actually taking the WWE Title from him? It seems that he is invincible and can't be beaten when the title is on the line. Is this a sign that perhaps they're going to try to have runs like back 20 years with Hulk Hogan being the last champion to hold it for more than a year? I've never thought anyone could hold it that long with all this TV time, PPVs that anyone would still not be bored of the run.
I'm not bashing Cena as I don't have a problem with him. I just don't know if he can hold anyone's interest for having it that long. It's not an easy task with a lot of TV Time today than it was years ago.
This is just something I was thinking about considering the fact that no one has been able to take the title and also only Money in the Bank winners have somehow taken it away from him.
Since Edge all ready took the Money in the Bank away from Kennedy, he used it against Undertaker and has held the title since. Edge is another story for perhaps another time.
How long do you see John Cena holding the title to? Will he make it to 1 year plus or will it come up short? I actually have to think on that somewhat.

its pretty hard to say because Cena has beaten pretty much everyone in the wwe except batista and mr kenedy and I know that mr kenedy wont win the wwe title from john cena yet but I heard that Randy Orton is suppose to take the title away from Cena at summerslam but I doubt that will happen and I wouldnt want it to happen the only guys I can see winning the title are HHH or Mr Kenedy sometime down the line and thats pretty much it.

Yeah I heard the same thing about Orton. I really don't think he should be the one. I actually think Kennedy should take it and see what he can do with it. He was going to be World Champion this year but an injury stopped that from happening.

It's hard, ebcause Cena gets cheers and boos from the crowd for being the cahmpion depending on where the live tapings are. He's a winning champion, but also a guy who the crowds is so indifferent about in general. He recently passed JBL as having the longest title reign in this decade. If Cena gets to September 18th, he'll have been champion for more than a year. There are probably a few contenders: I see Bobby Lashley, Ken Kennedy, and/or Randy Orton being the main challengers.
I think Cena will be just short of a year. I think he can get "over" with the fans without having the title; they could even get more people interested and sell more if they have Cena chasing the title instead of holding it. We'll have to wait and see; I think Summerslam in August might be the time for Cena to lose.

You could be right on that one. I guess only time will tell. I saw that he surpassed JBL all ready for his run as champ. He probably could be more over but the Mcmahon mindset has been and probably always has been that the face is the long-term champion not the heel though there have been a few exceptions in its history.

I dont know who I see taking it form him, although I would like to see anyone other than Cena or Orton. I would like to see Lashley as WWE Champion, or even Umaga, making him a double champion.

Thanks for responding. I think Lashley could make an interesting champion if given the chance.
