A tragedy unfolding!...Prayers Needed!

I have been getting updates of Pakistani Province Balochistan where Flood Rains have caused a havoc. More than 400 people are dead by now when I am typing these lines and more than 200 are missing. The rains have struck people's homes, made of mud and straws, and by now more than 2 million people are homeless. There is no electricity, no drinking water, diseases, lack of medicines and bodies of Animals rotting. Humanitarian efforts are on there way but way far less than what is needed to be done. People are out in killing heat when even being inside was difficult for them. Because of close social structure they don't have many relatives outside tragic area. They have no one else other than people like us who make up part of a global family that they also belong to. I request you to take a moment to pray for them that their sufferings may end soon and adequate humanitarian efforts reach them.

Thank you for bringing this situation to all of our attention, kamran, so that we might add our prayers to your own. I will definitely keep these people and this situation in my thoughts and prayers!
I wish that there were more that I could say, but that's really all I can do.

Yes, we can at least pray, though there are some practical steps to be taken to help people there. I hope you would be doing your best to play your positive role in that situation. May their problems end soon. I appreciate your sentiments and join you in them!

i will say a prayer for them, that is terible, i hope that no more devastation will come their way.
