does it pay to be a call center agent???

I have worked at a call center called Nucomm for almost 2 years. People come and leave very very quickly. It is easy money because you are sitting on your bum all day BUT it can be emotionally stressful because there are people that will swear at you, will hang up on you, will call you names and attack your intelligence. There are VERY mean people out there but then there are a few good ones too. If you are able to keep yourself a few steps "back" from the bad customers and realize that they aren't upset with YOU (even thought they might say they are lol) they are upset with the company, the bill, life in general then you should be okay.
