Making money while the computer works/is idle?

I've found the program Gomez PEER which I have written a small entry about on my site ( http://money.indraz.com ). So I'm wondering if you know any similiar programs that runs in the background on my computer, making money for me? :)

The idea behind Gomez PEER is serious, it is a measurement of Internet speed of connections all over the world. I would have signed up but they still don´t have a version for Windows Vista. When it comes out, I´ll join!
