this makes me so sad, this baby didn't even look a yr old.
do you think someone can actually "forget" a child in a car? (especially on a hot day)
what is wrong with ppl? i so pray this baby did not suffer.
temputure of 107 and this poor kid is left all alone.

It is crazy, I really don't know what is happening to people these days, people seem to be so self absorbed that nothing else in the world matters, where is the motherly instincts gone this sort of thing is happening all the time here in Australia so much so there had to be laws put into place to stop this sort of thing, there should have to be laws made for this it should be common sense.

That's sad and scary that someone would forget a baby. I can't believe that someone would actually do that. I am in Arizona right now, so I know what 107 feels like. That poor child never had a chance. That mother needs to be arrested!!!

This is just so sad!
And that 'excuse' is lame beyond belief! I never forgot ANY of my kids in the car. No matter how tired or sick I was...
I think people should need a license or something to have kids. We need licenses and classes to drive..

this is a horrible thing to hear. im in arizona, and even though it is illegal to leave a PET in the car alone, you see it happening all the time, but for a baby to be left..thats just irresponsible beyond belief!! ppl dont seem to realize that if its 100 degrees outside..the inside of a car can easily push 130 degrees!! that poor baby literally cooked. sorry to say that, but personally i think thats what should be done to the mother! make her feel what that baby did.
you're completely right that ppl should have to take some kind of test or something in order to become parents!! having a child is a far bigger responsibility than driving a car.

It's so sad to hear that news. I cannot believe she was able to do that in her young baby. I think there is no reason for her to explain or to appologize because it's not proper to left your baby in a place where it is proned to danger or let say, at risky places. There is no such mother would do that to her child, although some does. Her reason is not appropriate and I can say that she is irresponsible because of what she did. I really admire those mother who put more attention to their children than their selves.

I can't believe anyone could "forget" their child was in the car when they got out. It makes me sick to even think that someone could do that. I lost a son who wasn't even 8 weeks old because he had a metabolic disorder, and now we have a 1 year old daughter. There is absolutely no way that I could "forget" my babies.

I too have a feeling it was on purpose (but only she knows)
However I just can't believe someone just simply, truthfuly forgeting??? cuz as I said b4 after even a min of entering the home a person would obviously be oh crap and realize the baby was still in the car and not with her or him???? But to simply go all that time and "just forget" I can't buy it.
She must have been dealing with post pardom depression (I know that can make a woman do unthinkable things depending on the severity) But either way I feel strongly it was purposeful PPD or not?
I pray that little baby is at peace with God and playing and laughing his little hearts content:) and I pray the family will get thru this.
I am very sorry you lost your son apsuz73~I send you many blessings xo

It is very scary to think about. That woman must feel awful. I've heard of this happening before - obviously it doesn't happen very often, but nowadays, people get so busy and so distracted that very bad things can happen. I really, really, hope that it wasn't deliberate, but yeah, you do have to wonder how someone could forget something so important as their child.

but when ppl become parents its almost reutine ish to get out take the baby out of the car seat (for ex) I just don't understand~I BET YOU SHE REMEMBERED TO GRAB HER PURSE AND TAKE IT IN THE HOUSE!
and lets say she went in the house without the baby wouldn't like after a minute at the most she would have been like oh ***** and ran out to get him? But to say she TOTALLY forgot I think was just an excuse.(she must have been dealing w post pardom depression)I know that can really make a person be feeling all sorts of ways.
I think she did get arrested (not positive) and the temp on 107 was in combo of the windows being all shut. Sad Sad Sad!

That is so horrible for that family. I can't imagine what is going through the mother's head! I don't know her and I haven't read the story so I don't if it was intentional or not. But as a mother, my heart tells it wasn't on purpose. But also as a mother I know how distracted and busy and stressed and frantic and crazy and forgetful that we can get. It's not easy being a parent and this woman will forever have to live with what she has done. That is something that she will probably never forgive herself for. It makes me sad for them!
