I'd check that your not running any third party programs that can cause this. Uninstall any third programs you don't recognize, or run Firefox in safe mode and see if the problem persists.
If it does, uninstall Firefox completely. Restart your computer and then reinstall Firefox again. Good luck!

Check your third party addons, could easily be the problem if they are not compatible.

Yes, it's only been happening for about the past couple of days and it's so annoying. It luckily can restore its last session but still.

Hi. Is your computer clean of spyware and virus?
Try housecall.trendmicro.com .
It's a free online scan for you to confirm that your computer is "clean". Cheers.

i have these problems too for a couple of days. i don't know if these are glitches in firefox. i have enough RAM and i only open 3 to 4 tabs within the browser. it's quite annoying because the program suddenly stops and gives the message that it will be closing down.

Hi juliemarie,
Firefox rarely behaves the way you described. Try to uninstall and reinstall it again. If it occur again, then your registry keys might be corrupted.
Try this :
-Do a scan in "safe-mode" with Spybot and AVG for spyware and viruses.
-Download CCleaner and WinSockFix (Both are freeware)
-Run CCleaner to clean your registry.
-Run WinSockFix to repair your network keys.
Hope the info is useful.
