Can anyone suggest a great band or artist?

I've been searching the internet for hours and I can't find one I want to listen to next. I'm into indie, rock, punk, whatever. I don't typically like mainstream but some are just good whether they're popular or not. Who should I listen to next?

I love them, but not everyone does. Ive seen them in concert a few times actually and the guitar player actually wrecked my car once!
