after 6 years, 100 million votes from all around the world, the NEW 7 wonders of the world is finally here! =) along with pyramids of giza (the only OLD wonder left standing), here are the new wonders:

what do u think guys?? when i first started mylot, i also created a discussion to enjoin people to vote online. and finally the verdict is out! do u think the wonders are deserving of their title??

I'm very happy with the result. I actually voted for the Great Wall of China and I even voted for it as my favorite. I hope the site would send me the certificate because I paid two dollars for it.
Meanwhile, I'm very happy that my fave got in the final place. I voted for it last week of June but somehow forgot to follow it up. So thanks for posting it here and reminding me :-D

really?? u paid $2 for the certificate? well, i hope u get that. sure would be something to tell your grandchildren in the future =) i one i voted also got in the finals. what did u vote for?

I see that this list of places was given in Lisbon in Portugal on 07/07/07. I agree that all the wonders deserve their title. I went to the rose city of Petra in the sandy desert of Jordan. It was a simply stunning site. I flew over the beautiful golden pyramids of Egypt as well.

yup, the list was announced last 7/7/7 in Lisbon. it's great you've been to the city of Petra! i loved its "rose"-pink color =) and to see the pyramids?? wow, nothing is more amazing than that! i'm so envious of u, hehe
