Have you ever written a email to a friend, business associate or just someone you know and never have a reply? Well, I have plenty of that and it is just very frustrating.
I cannot understand why people would not reply to an email. I am not talking about spaming mails. I am refering to mails that are sent to you by someone you know or have contacted before.
Care to share your opinions on this?

That is just too bad. Maybe they should have seperate email boxes. This way, they can seperate unsolicited emails from those genuine emails from friends. Do you think they will reply if they do that? Or do you think it is just their excuse for not replying emails?

I never do that, i always reply to my friends mails and they do reply when ever i write to them. I think its very rude when somebody does not reply to e-mails. And always reply to your friends mails when ever they want you do. We recieve spam everyday, but friends mails are not spam they are your friends so don't be rude.

I am happy to hear that you always reply to your friends emails. It is definitely good to have you as a friend. Unfortunately not everyone is like you or me.
I agree that it is very rude not to reply to an email of someone you know. These are not spam mails. Some of the reasons I have come up with for why people do not reply are:
a. if it is about a subject that they feel uncomfortable with, they try to ignore the mail rather than reply to it. By doing so, they feel they can avoid the topic.
b. they like to procrastinate
c. they take friendship for granted
