oh lucky...getting to see them that many times...I've only gotten to see them 4 times, granted it has been quite spread out over their career. But just not enough, because they put on an amazing show.
and your complaint about the new fans, sadly it is that way with so many really amazing bands...people "jump on the bandwagon" for a little while because it seems hip, yet only listen to the current album and have no interest in going back and checking out an artist's entire catalogue. It really saddens me.

i agree with you completely. The new "fans" (most of them...not all) just don't know what it means to be a true fan. They don't want to see what they have done before...they don't give anything but the current album a listen. It happened to Avenged Sevenfold, too...so so sad.

Well that is neat. I saw AFI in concert in my town. It was a small one. I don't really know their songs, and I didn't know them then. But my sister liked them, and her friends. So I went with her. They are quite beautiful. Kind of dark. I don't really like them particularly. I remember that Hot Topic has a lot of stuff about them. It is sad because I don't really know any new bands. I kind of go for old stuff. I do like dark stuff. But I like Marilyn Manson better than this. I should expand my horizons maybe. I am kind of stuck. Lol. I am also a fan of Tori Amos, and the like. Fiona Apple is OK.
