are we getting boring?

I guess with the number of people on here now, there will always be the same or very similar discussions. After a short break I have returned only to find that MyLot seems to have become a little bit boring and it is getting hard to find some good discussions. Ways to shake it up, well there are always the controversial topics, but these never last too long do they :-)

i think the reason why some topics have been repeated is because some of us (that includes me) don't search if the topics we have in mind have already been posted in the past and i think not many of us have the luxury of time to do that. but the others just post any discussion to increase the number of postings they can have daily. oh well, with all the experiences we have on a daily basis, i think there's so much to really talk about on myLot. =)

seriously.. i am visisting mylot after really long time now..& when i saw all the same old discussions.. i never felt i was really away from it for long.

Yes, it is rather boring around here lately. I have been having a hard time finding good new discussions and I have been having an even harder time responding to the ones I do find. I guess I am just bored with this place in general. I have taken a bit of time off and today does seem a little better for me. Maybe a short break will help you too.

Discussions are bound to be repetitive as there are so many people & so many asks about the same problem or topic.It is just that we ourselves have to think better way.That is the reason i have almost stopped starting discussions as i can't find any new topics.Whatever i think is already there.

This is one thing I don't have a problem with. In self-development programs I have discovered that whilst much of the subject matter is tautological, no two interactions are ever the same, as it is as if we are pealing skins off the "onion" of our consciousness and get deeper and more profound realisations by participating. For instance, I write to my Zen blog nearly every day, and whilst my ego says that I have exhausted the subject, it suprises me that I keep on coming up with more and more information, which points to the same thing, but seems to point to another element of it. All entries have been inspired during my meditation sitting each morning and it seems that I have tapped into something that is truly infinite, yet it all leads to the one point eventually - enlightenment. And I have been a therapist and Zen practitioner for 30 years. Each day, each moment is new. And look what's happening here now with this "are we getting boring?" discussion. Here is even more getting posted - unless that is, I am boring you?:-) There is only the moment of now and its contents have never been realised before even though there may be millions of similarities:-)

I , too, have no longer the same urge to come on mylot and write a little something We have also been really busy and didn't have much time for it but the few times I had a minute and would stop by mylot, I was just there trying to find a discussion and none would really motivate me as it woudl have in the past I am guilty myself not having had time to start any decent discussion either I admit But I guess when everything has been discussed over what can we add? I still try to come from time to time and there are still a few great discussions, but there are fewer than before in my opinion I think mylot might be a victim of its success

What if you add to your interests? Maybe look at some that you have not considered before. I find I am answering new questions. I have expanded my friends list and new friends mean new questions.

I have days were I stuggle to find friends to respond it. You all better get on the ball! KIDDING. At times I am really at a loss and I cant seem to find a subject that anyone will respond to. So keep posting I always like you topics!

I am a month old here in mylot. I am still like an iron, hot and striking. LOL. But I do not have all my time doing mylot since at home we do not have internet connection. The only time I come to mylot is when I am at our office or in our school. I guess that can help me from getting bored. God bless!

I have an idea for starters, we could stop discussing how boring this has become!!
