STOP cheating mylot!!!!!!!

July 8, 2007 8:52am CST
These jerks are so on my last nerves. Thanks to them they have successively brought the demise of many post for pay sites. They are complete low life imbeciles as far as I am concerned focused on nothing but cheating every one of us and this site. I am now, in efforts of protecting a site I have come to love being a member of, reporting them every chance I get, even searching them out and personally letting them know I did so. I am accused of being Mylot super hero or cyber cop for doing so, but you know what I could care less rather be that than a theif any day. I can not set by and let these jerks get by with the killing of yet another site. I am asking everyone to do the same if you enjoy being a member here or if you feel your posts are not getting what you feel they should, blame these people and start reporting them for sucking up profit for their friggin ads or by posting repeat discussions repeatedly! Stops letting the cheaters kill our forums!! Ok, a bit dramatic but censorship would not let me say it the exact way I would so love to. What are your feelings on these scums, do you report them or do you just let them be? Why? I read all, rate all and thank all.

I thought that we had seen the last of the cheaters, but have recently encountered many and have reported them to MyLot staff. It concerns me that so many are trying to keep this forum a great place to share information, meet new people and maintain friendships. Those that come in and think of MyLot as a way to make a quick buck need to get with the program.

Wow! *takes a step back from the computer* *giggles* That's a heck of a rant there. I agree with you though, it is frustrating how many cheaters are out there these days, and how often I see those repeat discussions makes me sick! It makes it hard to enjoy mylot sometimes trying to sift through all the junk. I do find that I have been reporting people more often recently, just because I want this kind of crap to stop. At first I was of the "live and let live" opinion and didn't worry about it, but enough is definitely enough after a while!

I've been having a hard time looking for more sensible posts, so to my frustration, I just report on discussions on which I see that obviously violates this lovely site.. I just can't simply bare seeing mylot's reputation be just ruined by those offenders, to which most of them just came here for just one purpose, which is to CHEAT! I believe that other user's here who do not understand your topic should not respond, because they don't know what they are saying. My only tip for them, "READ MYLOT's GUIDELINES!" Because if they didn't, then they are just posting here for the MONEY and not to CONTRIBUTE "GOOD" quality discussion .. Whenever I spot one offender, I report them immediately. It may also be good if we'd tag the post, by simply putting "violating mylot's guidelines." This is the only site that I'm so much in too, I have loved this site as much as I loved myself. I'm always on the "watch" for those cheaters, violators and offenders to rid them off this site as soon as I've seen one!;)

It may also be good if we'd tag the post, by simply putting "violating mylot's guidelines." That is a great idea, darn why didn't I think of that? LOL I am going to start to post a link and a copy of the rules in their post after I report them. Maybe they will take the hint from that as well. Thanks for the idea!

Well I guess I made sense, I'm glad that to always give my share of what's in my mind!;) I think we can tag them, even by not providing response or commenting on that post. I also made some most about mylot's guidelines, but sadly, only a few of my friends did noticed it.. The reason why cheaters and spammers still lurk in this site, is because most of those posters ignore it. All they think is just post, respond and earn money. To which I'm sure is very unfair, as members of this site should also do their share to help this site scum-free..

I was wondering exactly how does someone cheat myLot? You said people post the same discussion more then once. Is that true? I have never noticed that. My memory is not that good to realize someone was posting the same discussion more then once! That really stinks if people are cheating as you say?

"SunShineCop" Yeah, I kind of like that. I picture me in this leather studded skimpy police outfit armed with a whip. LOL me saying with a heavy German accent, "You have been a bad boy for spammink" Ha ha ha Ok on a serious note, I do want to say I so agree with you on some real things to talk about. I have seen both extremes, from "Do you like air" to questions only friggin Einstein could answer. I reckon the thing with Mylot it has a HUGE selection, we just have to find what we like. I enjoy finding interesting characters and going through their profile and not just posting to their posts, but checking out the posts they have posted to. You can come across some really cool topics that way. It’s a new thing I have been doing.

I am soooo with you. I got in trouble the last time I fought against people like this and lost my account here because I couldn't hold my tongue. Obviously I have learned my lesson and am being a good girl. I hope you will be very careful to. Report the people like that but be aware that they will try to bring you down while they are doing their cheating and messing around here.
10 Jul 07
Yes I have come close many times, but I am holding off. I am only trying to stick with posting the rules with a quote and the link to the guildlines. Figured even if these idiots don't take the hint, someone else will.

I agree with you totally. This is such a good site with alot of great members, but as always people have to come along and abuse it. I am the same and will report those who are just out to ruin this site. Its ashame that so many good discussions get censored because of the puritans on this site who have to report discussions they don't agree with, yet mylot seem to allow so many through that are spams or repeated discussions. I cannot understand why. We have to stick together and rid mylot of these greedy scumbags. Good discussion sunshinecup!!!

I too am so sick of seeing the posted referral links. First it was Adbux, then Buxto, then Advercash, and now Tarbux. ...geeze...nothing but "please join under me", "hot new program...Look!" etc etc. I report them when I see them. I ran across one a week or so ago that was posting about Buxto DAILY!!!! Geeze.

I would be so mad if Mylot got shut down! I love this site; love my friends, love discussing stuff important to me! And I see NO problem with you or anyone else being a cyber cop for us! That's great in my opinion! Keep at it, bring em down! :) What exactly should we be on the lookout for and what should we report?

Discussions that are about nothing else other than joining some site. You know the ones.. "Make money fast" " Join blah blah it's pays" "I will share my secret to wealth with you". The commercials, not discussions.

Hello sunshinecup, I don't like cheaters and I do like this site. I've been here everyday for three months and due for a day off, but thats my fault. I can't seem to get away from the computer screen since I got here. I don't care for some of the new people comming in here and disreguading the rules. It reminds me of school and a bunch of kids, trying to push the limitations of myLot. I have seen a lot of violations lately, and I've reported a lot of those violations. I feel it is every members duty to do so if they feel the guidelines are being violated. Because of the newbies, who don't like to read all the guidelines and all of the discussions, we are faced with the problem of non payment of work completed. Example, I write a discussion and someone gives a comment like this "skedhfiahh98247skjfh" What is that, in that case I will report it, they are not going to be paid for that when I bust my rump doing quality discussions and responses. By the way I have had a few of responses like that. It's all this that we are having problems getting honest payout. Yesterday I did two discussions with photos, and seventy one comments, I recieved $0.21 for the whole day. I know it should have been more, but there are cheaters out there doing what they please. So I am with you to get all the cheaters, but what do we do with them when we catch them? Do we hang them? Do we put them in front of a firing squad? Well enough of my rambling. I hope everything works it's way out. I hope we can all settle the crap and get this wonderful site back to it's glory! Peace, Totty

You hit it on the nose, kids testing the rules. Then when they get caught, they want to point fingers everywhere else but at themselves. *sigh* silly isn't it? Oh well, if we all keep supporting this site and report the cheaters, I have faith mylot will be just fine. Thanks for the response

Trust me I understand where you're comming from with this one. I'm getting tired of the thousands of "where can I make money online" questions that I keep seeing. However, my favorite discussions on here are the people complaing that mylot isn't paying them enough. Are you freaking kidding me? I understand that some people have to stay home because of family or disability but the majority of these people are lazy a$$holes who want to suck every dime out of everything they can and actually do nothing to deserve it. Sorry I went off on a tangent there, needless to say I understand your fustration.

ya i am new to mylot and kinda dont know the details down to the last speck but as i have seen in my little time in mylot my earnings have gone down because of these gut=ys who can be called spammers and in fact take way the fun from posting in discussions even if its for fun.well there shoukd be strict rules that keep spammers out from sites such as these and we could also help by ignoring these kinda people and that could lengthen thelife of sites like mylot

ignoring them doesn't help. They still get paid for posting trash if mylot isn't aware of them.

If I see someone cheating I definately report them. My mylot earnings continue to get smaller and smaller for the same amount of discussions. I'm not just here for the money - I'm here for the friends - but it is disheartening to see my earnings decline.

I agree. I also report people when I have a reason to. I do not think tat it is fair that some people just earn money from copying what other people said. STILL it has gotten better here now than what it was a few montsh back, but the cheaters are still here and we still haev to fight them =) I am with you all the way!

Thanks Marie, I am glad we are not alone. After today I was starting to wonder. Seems there are some hell bent on getting rid of the "cheater police" and have a HUGE issue with us turning in violators and not be afraid to say so. Reckon maybe they have a few sore spots they need to blame on some one.

What's the big deal? If I don't like someone's discussion, I skip over it. If someone breaks the "rules", then they pay the consequences - what's to get mad about? I think there are more important things to get mad at in life than "spammers" or "cheaters". Maybe I would use a word like "scum" to describe a pedophile - but a "cheater" on mylot? Geez.

What's the big deal? Well maybe if you took the time to read over the whole discussion, you would understand what it is. I think I did very well in explaining it. If someone breaks the "rules", then they pay the consequences And it takes reporting them for them to pay the consequences. Pretty much a no brainer. Last, I pick my choice of words you pick yours. I think “scum” fits people who go out of their way to suck an extra penny out of a stranger’s pocket quit well.

You really think of these people as sucking a penny out of your pocket? I really don't think of them that way because: 1) my focus on here is not money - I earn a six figure sum in real life with a real job, doing hard work and contributing something real to society. To me this is not work, it's actually "unwinding". 2) I don't think of the money that mylot pays me as "my" money - it is money given to me as a byproduct of expressing an opinion. It doesn't have to pay but the fact it does is funny to me. So the thought of someone actually stealing this money which I don't think of as mine in the first place is even funnier. Unless you've had an extremely good run in here, earning thousands of dollars or this is the money you earn to put food in the mouths of your kids I don't see why you have to get so worked up. Goodness knows how you would react to a real life crisis.

WAIT A MINUTE! If you are in one of the making money online discussions, what is the freaking problem? BTW, I know of some other PaidToPost places. Believe it or not, I don't get any referral $$ for telling you. Try PaidPostingForums and ForumFairy. They have both paid me. Strictly FYI. No commission here.

I read your pedantic post, and am still unmoved. If I was trying to get referrals to a program in the religion discussion group, for example, that would be wrong. But, the money making discussion groups are for discussing opportunities to make money. Perhaps we should report you for preaching in the money making forums. They should move your posts to the religion or ethics groups. \m/ (OO) \m/

You are making no friggin sense----"Perhaps we should report you for preaching in the money making forums." This post you are replying to is in GENERAL posting! If I responded to one of your posts, then reply there so I can see if I made an error it's not beneath me to apologize. But if you would like to move my post to religion, I wouldn't mind.. at least it's not spamming trash!

You know, it is one thing to have a heated discussion about a topic beween two people who vehemently disagree with each other. It is another thing entirely to go on a profanity laden rampage. Sunshine, plussing someone who uses such profanity pulls you down into their gutter. Our debate had not fallen to such depths. All things considered, I'd rather skip over someone's posting designed to make an extra $0.50, $1, $2, or even raise some money for charity than stumble into the profane garbage I just found here. BTW, the avatar is from the movie "A Clockwork Orange", a 1971 film by Stanley Kubrick based on a novel by Anthony Burgess. It is one of the most important books and movies of the 20th century, questioning whether evil can ever be eradicated from modern society without the surrender of free will.

Hmmmm is your skipper broke? Secondly what in the world does that have to do with you being a spammer? Collecting pay from here to fill these boards up with your friggin commercials? I rather cuss and + those that do than be a thief any day. But that's just my opinion. Take care in your skipping, don't want any skined up knees.
