Why do girls prefer to have ugly boy friends??

Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Your idea of someone attractive may be quite different from someone else's opinion. In addition, I know that back in high school I was definitely interested in dating the "hottest" guys. As I got older, I looked for different qualities, such as intelligence, sense of humor, and other personality traits. If you meet a person who has traits that you value and like, these benefits may outweigh looks.

we actually don't, just like you do. given a choice, between the two, we would prefer the handsomes over the not so handsome ones. but then handsomes are hard to come by. and additional qualification for handsome plus good personality is really once in a blue moon. there are not so handsome men (and quite a number of them) who possesses good qualities and that makes up for the lack in physical appearance. girls could go for that. for girls, physical is the initial attraction, but then, we look for more on the inside and that's what makes the real attraction. no ,love is not blind. we just see it with the heart and not with the eyes.

yeah Ive been seeing couples who are like that... makes us wonder, maybe the guy is rich? hmm... if the guy is poor and ugly, lucky him and has a pretty girlfriend hahaha. Maybe love is really that blind.

I can only speak for myself on this. I have been told that some of the guys I have been with are not so attractive. A mans physical appearance really matters very little to me when it comes to being in a relationship. If they keep themselves clean and take care of themselves and take pride in their appearance, well, that says alot about who they are.I don't prefer ugly guys. It is just that looks are fleeting and superficitial. Its all about the character inside.

I think it depends upon the taste of the person. Each of us have our own interest and likes, so maybe that is one of the reason. If we are going to explain this further, you will come up with the same answers or opinions. Actually, beauty does not only refer from what we are seeing on the outside appearance, beauty also comes from the inside character of the person. Some people would much prefer to choose the inside beauty rather than the outside beauty. In my point of view, there is no wrong if she prefers to have an ugly guy as her boyfriend, as long as she is happy being together with him, as long as she is comfortable and/or satisfied with him, so let them be and let their love grow. All of us have our own way of getting satisfaction. There should be no discrimination. In the eyes of God, we were created as equal, so all of us should be treated in the same way. Good day!

I THINK ITS NOT abut attraction but as we all know that the more aged a person is the more he is matured so wn we see an aged person usually we find him ugly ,but the girls dont see that if the guy is matured and looks secure ,thats wt the girls want so they fall for him,but the first priority of a girl is money not maturity, but u know wt i think the more the beauty the girl posses it means the more dumbness she posses ,i am not saying the beauty makes her dum ,but ull know sm day!

I believe people choose their partner because they are nice, friendly and sweet and not because he is pretty or not. At least that's what I do. Do you really think someone wants a pretty guy that cannot have a decent conversation rather than a not so pretty one that can be nice and funny? Personality is more important than beauty. In a few years beauty is over but the personality is the same. Prettier guys may call my attention easier but they usually seem to think that beauty is enough to conquer a girl. I don't see my bf as an ugly one or even a pretty one, I like him as he is, I don't really care if other people see him as beautiful or not.

is it the same at your place too?????? well, I lived in Armenia as well as in syria!! in Armenia girls " for some reason " die for ugly men because they think that they are " more manly " in Syria, girls love only handsome cute guys, simply because they are handsome!! so it's a cultural thing I think...

people beautifulness is subjective, maybe you say he was ugly but maybe there is some people say he was handsome, so we can't anything about other choice.. it all depend on the girl..

Well... this is an interesting question. Lol... I think nowadays in this world boys are less than girls, so girls can't be so choosy when it comes to have a boyfriend. There are a lot of pretty girls out there with no boyfriend. So they have to choose between not having a boyfriend, or having one but ugly. So... what would you do if you are in this situation? Girls sometimes do not prefer a face as a partner. me, i am looking for brain than face.When it comes to boyfriends, he must have a strong personality that he can carry a relationship, its not always a good face to be depending on. If i have found someone who has a personality and brain I am truly blessed. the attitude of the person is important in a relationship, not the face.

I personally think that the girl believes that since she has an ugly boyfriend that no one else will try to take him away. These so called ugly boys tend to be more friendly and genuine seemingly because of their shortcomings. It is also tru that love can be blind because one cannot know for sure how the other person is viewed in the admirers' eyes. You cannot tell a person who to love.

look doesn't matter in love...what is more importance are heart and feeling towards somebody. if everyone in this world wanna think that look are the main point in love nobody will be happy cause when we get older our face not remain the same

There could be many reasons why a girl would want a less attractive bf. Some girls wouldn't go out with a guy prettier than they are. Some girls have issues of guys with looks leaving them so they try someone different.
