Cricket Wireless -- Do they actually hold on to what they say in the U.S?

How many of you actually have Cricket Wireless? I've notice that since their promotion many of their local and corporate buildings and emerged rapidly -- With their deals ranging $40-$60 of their claims to having Unlimited Call times throughout the United States and Unlimited Picture & Text Messaging to anyone across the world. For those that have Cricket Wireless -- Is it legit or not? Is it a scam or a fake? For those that don't have them, what do you have to say about them?

It is legit. A friend at work has it and she can call anywhere and her plan is like $40 or $50 a month. She gets unlimited texts etc. She likes it as I believe you don't have to have a credit check to get Cricket if I am not mistaking.
I have Cingular/AT&T now. But if I weren't already signed up with them I would look into Cricket.

Nothing wrong with my credit - I am thinking about getting it as well. I wanted to know what others said about it. Reading and checking different types of cell phone plans the 2nd best I've come across was Verizon Wireless.

Thanks for the input. Because I am a heavy texter myself because I keep contact with family and friends in the Philippines. Also a heavy caller in California with my sister, her family and business partners. I'm looking into getting Cricket by the end of this month or early August.

I do have a cricket phone and I love it.I feel that it is better than some of the other weirless phones ther are some that are good.I like that there is the unlimited pic. and text messaging.Now they have it where you can call out of your calling are and thier is no exta money added and they also have the internet right in the phones now.
