Making the bed is certainly near the top of worst chores but what I hate even more is trying to fold the dreaded bottom sheet. My mom used to take no time at all folding it and making it nice and neat.Me on the other hand, can't get the knack no matter how many times someone showed me.I gave up years and now I just roll it up and throw it in the closet with the other sheets on top.Do you have trouble with it?

Hehe--another thrower in the closet of sheets...yup I do that too....the top sheets are no problem...I give up too in having the bottom fitted sheet nicely folded too...Oh well, like who cares..no one is going to look in our linen closets...and least I don't think so...LOL

Having clients that are very particular about how their sheets get folded, I found a website to instruct me on how to fold these dreaded sheets. Here is the link:

thanks so much for the link. I haven't had to do any laundry as my clients relatives prefer doing it but I'm sure that the time will come when I will get a patient that needs laundry done and I am sure this will come in handy

I have never meant anyone who DIDN'T have trouble with folding thos bottom sheets! They must have come from Satan, LOL. I do the best I can to make it look 'folded', but I think if my mom can't do it, I never will be able to master it either.

once you learn the trick to it,it goes faster.
you just layout the bottom, tuck in only the top, then throw top sheet and blanket on at the same time, and tuck it all at once.
however,if it's for somebody bed bound, you're screwed.all you can do is side to side.
