how many of us hav d ability to utter those three words 'i love you' in front of our girl friends face to face?

That's easy! Just tell her "I love you!" then say a follow up speach saying "It's a joke!" and laughs. Seriously, I can't if I don't love her but maybe I can be brave enough if I really love her.

Hehehe. Well i do that. Every time i meet with my girlfriend i would tell her that i love her. I guess it's the only best thing i could say to her. And i mean it when speak those words. And i also know how wonderful it is to hear someone saying these words to you.
