One question - what is with the tags associated with this discussion? All of them have nothing to do with the subject at hand. Someone's idea of a joke? I will be adding relevant tags after I post.
People fail to realize the basic fact that the Bible is a culmination of a myriad of documents and books collected over the course of hundreds of years. The Old Testment contains many documents/books that have nothing to do with religion, but were in fact documents of geneology and the like from the time of the Exile of the Jews.
A big chunk of the Bible are stories and parables that are meant not to be taken literally, but for us to derive from them morals and ideas. You know, - "The moral of the story is ...". Also, remember the times in which these stories were written - the majority of the world at the time were illiterate. So, ideas and laws had to passed around via the spoken word. And the best way for most of the population to learn (morals and laws) was via story-telling.
Lastly, many of the "laws of Christianity" written in the Bible were written with the ideals of the society of the time in mind. Many are unconceivable to us now-a-days.
No, the Bible isn't meant to be followed to the letter. It's contents are to help us to think and learn about ourselves and how we are to act as good people in general. Be kind to others. Always strive to better yourself. Have faith in God and know you will be going Home when you are done with your life here on Earth.

Personally, I believe the bible 100% and always will. I know we each have our own opinions and I am glad to say I believe.

Yes i believe in the Bible. And for the people who do not believe in the Bible, it is just up to them. They'd better read it before judging that what the Bibles tells is false. They might have not known that it is God's love letter to men...
