What do you say about female and male attention?

Sometimes I have a deep talk with my girlfriend to understand each other. Males pay attention so much to the functionallity of things, while females to its performance. I feel that the difference bears problems to solve. Do you feel so? Am I right about this? Or wrong?

It is so true. The men are more into how and why things work whereas the women are concerned with the fact that it works and does what it is supposed to do.
