pinoys are genuinely showbiz... even in our home we are like boy abunda and kris aquino chit chatting about life of other people and showbusiness... well i guess its a normal thing specially if you have nothing to do but talk about other people. This is just an observation. Im a social worker... travelling from places, begging mothers to try birth control and immunization for heir kids... its hard, since they doesnt want their kids to get a free dose of immunization simply because they fear their kids will get fever... well for me its better than having hepatitis, measels and polio! in their community you will see this bunch of people playing tong-its while their 12 kids running around naked or with no slippers... if you want to talk to them thy will hide... as if you have some communicable sickness... but believe me... if ever their kids got sick they will come running in our health centers... of course they doesnt have money... but why have 12 kids! They know more about the latest chismax than the assignment of thir child... of if they even have enough money to send their child to school. i guess the problem with filipinos... we just wait and sit on our lazy butt waiting for easy cash, easy things just to answer our short term goal... then blame the government for the rest! i guess no matter how hard i try... its hard to educate people who is ungrateful and who doesnt want to be educated...
