I was told that it's not good for health if you don't shut down your cell phone at night. Is it true? Do you leave the cell phone on to use it as an alarm clock?

everyday man. i have a really cool alarm. it's the only alarm tone that can wake me up. Never heard of the 'not so good for health' thing. But I've heard that talking over a cellphone damages our brain's neurons.

i use my cellphone as my alarm clock because like the sounds that coming out whenever it alarms compare to the true alarm clock. I dont think its not good if you dont shut down your alarm clock at night, i think its healthy because you will know the life of your cellphone on howlong it will stay alive.

I also use my cell phone as an alarm clark and I love it. I use to use this annoying regular alarm that would make this loud buzzing sound that you would hear all the way on the thrid floor but I found out by my self that cell phones had an alarm clark which I never knew and I use it every night its much more plesurable to wake up to a ring tone then an annoying buzzing sound.

I have a smartphone. And people who use smartphone seldom turn off their cellphones unless the battery runs out. I have a software for my smartphone and therefore I can set three different alarm time. It will ring at 7:00am because I will take my son to the kindergarten. Then it will ring again at 7:50am as it's the time for my husband to wake up. Finally it'll ring at 8:15am on Saturday because I need to work at that time.

It's funny you should ask. I have no cellphone service out here in the valley, but I brought my cellphone with me, just the same, because the alarm clock feature is more than handy. It's nice and convenient to have an alarm clock, a calculator, and a calendar all rolled into one. If I have to get up at a certain time, and I know about it a week from now, I'll set the alarm for that particular point on my cellphone's calendar.

yes, I do. But I think it's not very well. Because the cell is so close to your brain ao that there is radiation. Maybe I should use a clock~~

I use mine as an alarm mainly because my radio clock does not work properly and sometimes will turn off in middle of the night

I think there's no harm if we dont turn it off. I always use my cellphone as alarm clock because i really get awake on the tone that i assigned compared to ordinary alarm clocks.

yes i do.I really use my celphone as my alarm clock. It's more reliable than clocks do coz sometimes, clock wouldn't just be on time especially if the battery goes out.So far, I haven't heard of that not for good health thing.

Hello Izjilbb, I have an alarm clock for 'helping' me to wake up though I can wake up on my own (just in case *smile*) Sometimes, I do switch on my cell phone 24/7 and sometimes too, I use it as an alarm clock. I put it on a dressing table and whenever it rings early in the morning, I will start searching for it in my dream *smile* It seldom helps me to wake up!

I keep it off, unless I have to use it. I wake up automatically around six in the morning, so do not need the cellphone as an alarm clock. Besides I am just getting used to how to work all the stuff that is in it and right now my biggest worry is if the automatic deduction via credit card will go through. I want the battery to last longer, and we also have a land line. Now if we did not, I would keep the cellphone on all the time.

when i'm not home, like if i'm on a business trip or something then yes, i'll use my cell phone as the alarm clock. else, if i'm at home, most of the time my mom will wake me up hehe..

I don't know if it is good or not for the health but I do sometimes use my cell phone as the alarm clock to wake me up in the morning. of course when I want to use it as alarm clock I need to leave it on. Actually my cell phone always on, I don't often turn off my cell phone.I don't carry it all the time in the house.Only when I go to bed, I will put it on top of the table next to my bed.
