Ever go to Karouan city in Tunisia?

I have met a friend who lives in tunisia and we have been closed friend for few months. Actually we liked to meet each other. But since my friend cant travel to other countries so the only way is that i have to travel to tunisia. I have some problems actually. i do really want to meet him but it seems like my hubby wont want to travel there since not so many people here in my country visit there and if i want to go there alone my hubby wont allow me to travel alone. So what can i do? And do you know somethings bout tunisia?

yes-this me the guy who lives in tunisia and exactly in kairouan , actually i really do want also to meet vio and she become a part of my life but since i don't have a high financial revenues i can't travel for long distances trips, so i asked her to join me in tunisia maybe it will be less expensive for her but since she got some problems with her husband she can't travel alone , and now all i ask from friends here if they can give her a hand or just adding an extra informations about tunisia or kairouan at least to convince her that tunisia is a peacful country and not as her hubby thinks

Thks for ur help midou and i know every country has it owns unique so i m sure that tunisia is also a great country too. Hope some day i will visit there.
