Most users in MyLot programme have their own computer whether notebook or desktop. Here i want to discuss which one you prefer to use. Laptop or desktop? There are mamy resons why the people use laptop or desktop. As for myself, i prefer and like to used laptop. The reasons why i am using laptop are, firstly interesting design nowaday. My Laptop looks very interesting because it design and colour. This laptop mostly black in colour but certain parts it has various colour for it logo design. Second reason, as one of the internet businessman, laptop has make my life easier. It light and i can bring it anywhere anytime. Different situation happen if i have a desktop. Could i manage to bring it if i have to go to other state. It so heavy and complicated. I think that are my reasons for now.

I have never owned or even used a laptop so a desktop is all I know. I have seen laptops but they seem to small for me. I will probably just stay with my desktop. maybe one day I will change my mind.

I definitely prefer the desktop. It's not portable but atleast it can be handled roughly. Laptop is also not that comfortable to use a laptop for gaming. It's also more less personal. Many people could use it freely. But laptop has a lot of features that could be good for a professional. Not for a student like me...

For me, i prefer both. I have a laptop and its only a pentium III, i wanted to upgrade to a new one, but for now its not a need yet, because almost all the features i need in a laptop is in it. I bring it to the office once in a while because its quite heavy, its the old laptops. I also have a desktop, and i prefer this one also specially if you have lots of games stored in it. My desktop has a 40gig hard disk capacity in which if i play a game, its much faster compared to my laptop with a 10gig only. So, both type of computers are useful and i really prefer both of them.

The main reason i don't have a laptop is because it will get stolen or lost very easily. Besides, even though it would be good to use to make music on the go with, by not having a laptop it frees me of some responsibilities of taking care of it - that way, when i am at uni i can play soccer or do other activities without worrying about my laptop being broken or stolen. It will also keep me away from using a computer when i go outside of my house.

I prefer laptop for these reasons.
a. portable - you can easily bring it with you anywhere
b. you don't have to add PC components like keyboard or mouse.
But, talking about troubleshooting, I prefer desktop.
Well, it depends on what business you are in. If you business involved travelling to one place to another... laptop.

I prefer a laptop but our one laptop is so slow that I really don't like to use it. I like it because I can get online whereever I am, etc. But it is too slow. It actually is a notebook.
So right now I am using my desktop. It is much faster than our notebook. But we also have a new laptop computer and I love it, but we only use it for our other business so I don't get online on it.
But laptops are great and you can take them anywhere. I love that about them.

I prefer using laptop over desktop because it is more convenient to use.You can carry it to any place you want. It has lots of advantages than a desktop.

I prefer to use laptops. I like the fact you can use them pretty much wherever you want, and I've got a wireless network in my house, so no matter where I am I can access the internet. I can also bring my laptop overseas with me if I think I may need it, or hell, if I just want some form of entertainment while I'm waiting in an airport lounge.

I like my desk top. I have worked on a laptop and it didn't seem as easy for me to use. It didn't have a mouse, the keys were smaller and I always had to be plugged in to the wall. Same with a desktop but you expect that when using a desk top.

if given the chance, i would like to have a laptop because it is more convenient to use because you can carry it anywhere but one disadvantage of a laptop is that it easily catch a virus that can blew up the whole hardisk and all infos will be deleted..as for desktop, its convenient also because of its big casing that enables me to use it at longer time without hurting my hands and buttocks..lol

I use my laptop most of the time. Sometimes I just want to dispose my desktop...its so bulky. It takes very large space.
