How Much Water Do You Drink Daily?

Hi... Wish you a very good day. I am habitual to drink atleast 10 - 12 glasses (tumblers) of water. It helps me to keep myself fit despite being a diabetic. What about you? Do you also drink so much water? Let us share this experience for mutual benefits. Thanx. ... dspatiyala ....

its depends on the capacity but 15 to 15 glass of water is good habit.

Can i know where do you stay i mean which part of india.

Hi I am glad to read that so many people drink alot of water..
The more you drink the better you feel.. I have trouble drinking water
I dont like water, so I add things like lift-off to 8 oz. of water it is a energy drink comes in a dissovable tablet. this works adds flavor to my water and gives me energy without crashing.. This gives me my start of water, then I can refill my glass with plain water throughout the day.. I guess I drink about 8 glasses most days.. It depends on how thirsty I am in that day. Usually I drink 3-4 liters of water.

I am not a good drinker of water, I know that it not good. We need to drink more and more to keep our self health. Water therapy in early morning will reduce many diseases and prevent from causing it. I need to make a daily habit of drinking water.

WATER AS WE KNOW IS THE MAJOR CONSTITUENT (70%) OF A CELL.
AS THEY SAY TOO MUCH OF ANYTHING IS BAD, BUT IN THE CASE OF WATER IT IS NOT TRUE.
WATER HELPS IN MANY WAYS-
1. IT REGULATE THE BODY TEMPERATURE (SWEATING).
2. IT DETOXIFY THE TOXINS PRODUCED IN THE BODY.
3. IT KEEPS THE METABOLIC PROCESS IN HEALTHY CONDITION.
4. IT HELPS IN THE GLOW OF SKIN.
5. IT MAINTAIN THE ELECTROLYTE BALANCE.
6. IT HELPS IN EXCRETION OF WASTE AND TOXIC MATERIALS (URINATION).
IF YOU WANT TO REDUCE YOUR WEIGHT, THEN TAKING A LOT OF WATER IS A VERY GOOD AND HEALTHY WAY.
DRINKING A COLD DRINK IS NOT HEALTHY, AS THEY CONTAINS AGENTS LIKE SODIUM BI-CARBONATE THAT HARMS OUR BODY. SOFT DRINK ARE MORE ACIDIC AND CHANGE THE pH OF OUR BODY (STOMACH), THIS CAUSE INDIGESTION AND SOMETIME ACIDITY.
SO I GENERALY STAYS AWAY FROM THEM, INSTEAD I GO FOR A FRUIT JUICE.
WELL I LOVE DRINKING A LOT (WATER OF COURSE!!!)
AND SERIOUSLY TALKING, I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH I DRINK (NEARLY 3-4 LTS).
BUT WHENEVER I GOT TIME I DRINK A LOT OF WATER, AS THIS UNIVERSAL SOLVENT IS FREE FOR ALL.

Hi friend, drinking water is always good to health. I drink more than 8 glasses of water a day. I think it really helps in digestion and health. Only those who have kidney problems they never have more water than usual.
Now we facing deficit water. Thanks

Yes friend DS, I am very happy to find this discussion! Usually I drink about two litres of water daily. This starts from a tumbler (400ml) of water with lemon-juice and two table spoon of sugar in the morning after I bursh and fresh up. This keeps me fit for the next two hours without any food input.
Then at tiffin time about between 8 to 9 o'clock in the morning, I take another tumbler (400ml). In between the day and upto evening hours I take five times about 250ml of water each time. More water is good for better health and cleans up our internal systems!

I probably drink 2-3 litres a day - I always carry a water bottle around and just refill it whenever it runs out.
It's great you are interested in healthy things for your diabetics instead of just relying on medicines.
Have you heard about a new film being made called (it might already be made) called something like "Simply Raw - Reversing Diabetes in 30 days" with 5 people with Adult onset diabetes in it. They all get cured in the 30 days by eating raw vegan foods (even though it is very hard for many of them to change their diet this extremely.
If you are interested, just search on youtube.com and you will see a trailer for this film. I don't know what type of diabetes you have, but you might find it interesting.

Not much I usually drink coffee and iced tea for more that 4 glasses but the plain water is only one glass or less .

i think i drink about 6-8 glasses of water a day. not really sure but i do drink very often since it's very hot here and it's also become a habit of mine to drink even if i'm not thirsty.

I drink flavoured water, anything without taste to me is horrible.

i drink 8 glasses of water and i drink fruit juice and iced tea. i also drink a lot of lemon juice. i dont have diabetes but i know water can help our body in a good way whether we are sick or not.

this is a good question because water is our most important resource - if i was lost in the desert and i found diamonds and somebody offered me some water for the diamonds i would immediately make the trade.
I normally drink about 10-12 glasses a day or more - i don't really count - i just keep a bottle or cup of water next to me and probably every half an hour when its empty i refill it.
One time when it was hot, i went 3 hours without drinking water - even after playing soccer - the next day i got really dehydrated and sick and i had to drink about 50 glasses to rehydrate myself.

HellO! I drink about 15 glasses of water daily in the morning itself. Actually I was quite ill for some months & took too many medicines. Then somebody told me to drink 1-2 litlres of water early in the morning (empty stomach) to remove toxins. So, first I started with 10 glasses, then 12 & 15. Then, other than this, I drink about 10-12 glasses of water daily...vani^_^
