In June many students graduate from the Ivory Tower and go to the adult world. And soon they will get their first salary.Do you still remember your first salary? How did you spend it?
I will graduate next year and I wanna give half of my first month's salary to my parents. Not really they need the money,it is a way of saying thank you for having brought me up.
What about you?

I got my first salary just after I finished my college. It was for a temporary job, but I was so much excited when I got the money in my hands. I shared some of it, as a thank you gesture, with my parents and sister and bought a nice gift to my favourite teacher!

I gave my parents a great treat and bought myself a nice cool phone. But that was like when I was 17.

I remember my first salary and I didnt get a lot I worked at mcdonalds for like a month and the paid there sucked I made like $5.25 an hour and only worked on the weekends which was quite annoying cause i hated working on the weekends of course with my first check I had to give it to my parents because I owed them a lot of money at the time from buying video games lol.

my very fisrt job was something not even related to my college degree. i did well in it anyway but also the salary was for fresh graduates and it was just enough. as for me, i was really overwhelmed that i am already earning my own money, i bought food as a blow out to my family and some new clothes and shoes. also my daily expenses came from the allowance i kept from my first salary which is just enough to get me through the next payday.

Most of us are a little bit disappointed at our first month's salary. But it will be better as time goes by.

I spend most of my salary buying a expensive watch for myself and I'm still wearing it till today. Of course, my money ran out and had to take some from my parents. Part of my salary went to my parents say around 10% on a monthly basis. Well, they don't need the money too but they said they will save it up and use it when I get married or something... hahaha...

When I was in high school I used to get a job every Saturday and Sunday. I got paid by hour, that was 20.00/hr... I am from Philippines, don't be confused about the rate.
