what is cheaper to operate, a propane hot water heater or an electric water heater I have two hot water heaters selected for my church hall, a 180,000 BTU propane with a rcovery rate of 174 gal per hour and an 18 KW electric with a recovery rate of 184 gal per hour at a 22 C degree temp rise. I would appreciate any info I can get as the Parish Wardens and the Parish Council l are split on this issue.
